ROOT 6 now supports the gcc 5 ABI, which will allow us to use the new guidelines support library (gsl).
CMS reports gcc 6.1 has problems for them.
The art team is considering moving to gcc 5.4 soon.
Muon g-2 will upgrade to art v2 sometime in mid-August.
