Issues 12247, 12385, 12395, and 12406, were resolved.
Issue 12247 involved a crash caused by a missing dictionary for the Assns partner class. This case is now checked for at job startup and a missing dictionary exception is thrown.
Issue 12385 involved cases where Handle might throw an exception in a manner which caused information about the exception to be lost. This is fixed.
Issue 12395 involved a problem where cetbuildtools did not properly install the generated rootmap and rootpcm files for rootcint-style dictionaries. This is fixed.
Issue 12406 involved generating internal test cases to reproduce header file path stripping issues with the rootcling dictionary generator so that the root team can fix them. This was done.
The art Users Meeting will be held on Friday, June 17, 2016, in the IARC meeting room. This will be an opportunity for art users to learn from other experiments. We already have 4 talks planned:
Alex Himmel (NOvA) will discuss Deep Learning.
Adam Lyons (Muon g-2) will talk about development on Apple Mac computers.
The Mu2e experiment will discuss FHiCL usage for good workflow management.
Brian Rebel (NOvA) will discuss usage of ResultsProducer.
The new features of the upcoming Acturus release will not require any user code changes, but puts of Run and SubRun products can be improved by using the new interfaces for explicitly controlling the event ranges to be associated with the products.
The LArSoft release with art v1_18_05 using ROOT 6 is having some continuous integration test failures. These are being fixed.
It was noted that artdaq will need a release with art v1_19_xx soon to adapt to the refactoring which introduced canvas, gallery, and critic.
