Marc Paterno circulated two issues to the art-stakeholders listserv for discussion:
Issue #8979: Suggestion from Chris Backhouse to write only the basename to JSON for sam_metadumper_dumper. LArIAT signed off, and Mu2e is fine with it as well. Will be implemented as suggested by Chris.
Issue #8890: cet_test has confusing error report
Some discussion as to the desired behavior for searching for source files when invoking the cet_test macro. Suggestion from Chris G. that the artists will do some experimental programming, determine what the behavior is, and then figure out how to proceed with the discussion.
Other items:
– ROOT6 tests (related to verifying stringified types of products) have been successful as reported by Mu2e and MicroBooNE.
– Patrick reports a problem building ROOT6 with gcc on OS X during the linkage stage. The portions of ROOT6 that use llvm create linker problems. Marc asked if anyone has tried specifically with the homebrew gcc installation?
