Crash in lariat grid job on missing md5.h header file. The investigation is continuing, the suspicion is the problem is caused by a missing dictionary.

- Several bug fixes and minor feature additions

- Remove cbegin/cend free functions from cetlib
- Remove the reconfigure() virtual function from the module base classes
Heads up from ROOT team
- Moving to C++17 as requirement would help us
- Want native compiler for some CERN distro: CC8!
- Need experiments to move to CC7 first
